Why did I share this story with you?

When I was still a kid, I used to watch a cartoon called “Journey to the centre of the earth” (maybe you know the one). The story was that a group of intrepid explorers decided to embark upon a dangerous journey and travel to the centre of the earth, following in the footsteps of Arne Saknussemm, who had already made the journey. In every single episode the explorers would end up lost and just about ready to give up hope. However, right at the critical moment, they would always find Arne's initials A.S. showing that they were on the right path after all.
